Wait and Be Renewed!

High flying eagle.

But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. - Isaiah 40:31

Have you grown impatient over receiving something you know the Lord has promised in His word? Is being healed what you've been waiting for? Is it your desire to see a loved one delivered from a difficult situation? Are you waiting for something and have grown weary and want to give up?

Take this instruction and promise from the Lord, who never fails.

Wait

  1. Perhaps one of the most difficult things we have to do. There is a spirit of impatience inside most people, and the result of rushing can have negative impacts spiritually and financially.

  2. But we must learn to wait on the Lord because His timing is much better than ours.

Renew

  1. If you have become weak and weary while waiting, the Lord will renew your strength—not just any strength but supernatural strength to go from day to day, situation to situation, in ways you don't understand yourself. Know that it's God helping you.

  2. He will renew you every time you need Him to as long as you depend on Him and glorify His name.

Soar

  1. Have you ever watched a bird fly high? When birds soar high, they are in their safety zone. The Lord will give you the same freedom from worry, anxiety, and social pressures if you trust Him to keep His word He has made to all of us, especially you.

Wait on the Lord and be renewed. He hasn't forgotten about you. "Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!" - Psalm 27:14

Eternal Father, thank you for remembering us when we forget your promises in the midst of our struggles. You are faithful, and I thank you for giving us renewed strength. Help us to be more patient. In the name of your precious Jesus, I pray—Amen!
