This Is The Day!

This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. - Psalm 118:24

If I had the difficult task of describing what I like most about God because there is so much to love about Him, this would be at the top of my list. Whatever God made, He takes care of it with unmeasurable love. He sustains what He creates.

So allow me to encourage you today. You were blessed with this day—a day you've never seen before. It doesn't matter what you have to deal with today! God knows how to help you, but you have to trust Him.

One thing to always remember is this; God spoke everything into existence. He spoke this world's first day! He has been keeping every day after first with the same love year after year. This is the day the Lord has made. I didn't make it, and you didn't make it; God did.

So rejoice! That's right, smile! Jump up and click your heels! This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.

Father, I thank you for blessing me every day I wake up from a deep, near-death sleep! I thank you for waking the person who is reading this post! Now, Lord, I pray you will teach us how to rejoice even when it seems we don't have anything to rejoice about. In your precious Son Jesus' name. - Amen
