Now, this is judgmental:
Someone said that some people can't be forgiven if they have done evil things. They insinuated that because they are evil, they WON'T change. People listen. Some really think that because someone has sinned, they can't be forgiven. Their justification is the wicked are given over to their own devices. That is true for people who refuse to repent and stop rebelling against God.
According to 1 John 1:9
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
We don't have the power to turn anybody over to a reprobate mind. I told this person that if God forgave me for my low-down ways, He can forgive anybody who confesses and repents. He isn't a respecter of people; in other words, He doesn't place a set of believers over another set of believers. We don't have a heaven or hell to put anybody in. Our name isn't God! Salvation is for everyone who believes and lives for Jesus.
