Beyond Our Biggest Thoughts

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. - Ephesians 3:20–21.

There is something I love about God, but I can't accurately describe it. First, I don't understand how and why He can love a man who once said He wasn't real. I don't know how He can forgive me after all my messy and evil actions.

Now that I've accepted the Lord as my Savior, He slowly reveals Himself to me. Every time He shows me one more thing about Him, I realize my thoughts can't begin to capture all of who He really is.

That's why when people who don't believe in Him the way I do try to ask those deep and philosophical questions, sometimes I respond, I don't know. Because I don't know, all I know is Jesus is real in my life.

And when I pray and ask for wisdom, guidance, and whatever else I need, He always does more than I thought He would do. I find out that what He can do is far beyond our biggest thought. As some would say, "Far beyond our wildest dream."

Lord, I pray you will reveal yourself even more to me and those seeking you. I also pray You reveal Yourself to people who don't believe in You. Perhaps their minds will change so they can be saved, too. In the name of Jesus - Amen.
